D. Adams: Works for people, and dogs

Eric Brakey is running for state Senate for Auburn, Minot, Mechanic Falls, Poland and New Gloucester, and I know he is the right man for the job.

When my neighbor's dog escaped last month, Eric Brakey happened to be driving by and stopped to help me chase him down.

While this isn't normally how you meet your candidate for state Senate, while searching for this lost dog, Eric and I spoke about many of the issues and the economic problems facing our state.

In the end, we managed to get the dog back to his home. Now, we just have find a home for fiscal responsibility in Augusta.

Eric Brakey knows the issues, works hard and he cares about the people — and the dogs — of our community. Imagine that, a politician who actually works for the people.

Eric Brakey has my vote this November.
